Speed Ventures is one of the largest recreational motorsports organizations in the U.S. Over the past 21 years, Speed Ventures has introduced tens of thousands of drivers to the
sport of road-racing hosting events all year round on the best race tracks in California, Nevada, and beyond. Speed Ventures hosts practice and test days,
a performance driving school for beginners, time trial competitions, and wheel-to-wheel racing.
Speed Ventures can also produce fully private track experiences, and we can reserve private run groups at most of our scheduled events.
We sanction various competitive racing series including DriveSkills SuperSpec Cup and Spec Corvette
What began in 2001 as a passion project for Co-Founder and CEO Aaron Bitterman has grown into one of the largest recreational motorsports groups in the country.
Speed Ventures hosts around 30 events each year at tracks including Auto Club Speedway, Willow Springs International Raceway, Buttonwillow Raceway, Chuckwalla Valley Raceway,
Sonoma Raceway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. We give drivers the opportunity to experience some of
the country’s greatest race tracks while improving their awareness and car control skills.
“I was obsessed with road racing and I needed more seat time,” said Bitterman, explaining how it all began. “I also wanted to create events with a unique feel and a relaxed
atmosphere where friends could come to share their passion for racing.”
Speed Ventures quickly caught on as an alternative to national clubs. Customers enjoyed the friendly, grassroots style, and they found they got more time on the track. Plus, drivers
realized they didn’t need to have aspirations of being a professional race car driver—or own a race car—to enjoy spending a day at the track honing their driving skills.
"I'm still amazed how many people—even people who love cars—have no idea they can drive their own car on a race track," says Bitterman. "Speed Ventures provides instruction and creates
a low-pressure environment for beginners so they can get their feet wet in a calm, controlled atmosphere. And we give experienced drivers the track time they need to tune their cars
and set up for the next race weekend."
