Thank you for signing up for Speed Ventures at Auto Club Speedway's Auto Competition Course ("ROVAL COURSE"). ***ATTENTION: The COVID-19 protocols for this event do not allow for PASSENGERS on track. There will be NO gate fee for drivers, all others will be charged $20 unless prepaid. If you need a crew member and did not add them to your registration, please contact us. Thank you for your understanding.*** Below is some important event information. Please read it carefully to make sure you do not encounter any problems at the track. PAYMENT: If you are paying by Pay Pal or check, please make sure that your payment is received 2 days after your registration date, or you may lose your reservation. If you would like to pay at the track, you must get prior approval. 2). There will be no gate fee for registered drivers. There will be a $20 gate fee for all others entering the facility that have not prepaid in advance, including drivers, guests, and spectators. 3). Auto Club Speedway is located at 9300 Cherry Ave., Fontana, CA 92335. Use the main entrance on Cherry Ave. and, once through the gate, drive to the left side of the Speedway and then curve right to enter the tunnel which takes you into the infield of the track. 4). A full schedule will be emailed out a day or two before the event and provided at registration when you check-in. Generally, plan to show up at the track 60 - 90 minutes ahead of your meeting and go straight to Registration in Garage 2 (G2), the second garage, to check in. Please check in BEFORE unloading or working on your car. The Drivers' Meeting may begin as early as 7:40am (depending on your run group). The Drivers Meeting is mandatory for all drivers unless you have received prior clearance from Speed Ventures to show up late. 5). GARAGES: For those who selected a garage when signing up, they are assigned the morning of the event at registration based on drivers' requests. If you would like to pit next to a friend, please make that request in the morning at the track. In addition, please do not take a garage when you show up at the track. Select the number(s) you want and head to registration to see if it is available. 6). GASOLINE: 98oct and 112oct fuel can only be pumped into full race vehicles and will not be sold to drivers with streetable cars. Gas jugs must labeled "RACING FUEL for USE IN COMPETITION VEHICLES ONLY". In addition, a CARB form must be filled out for each purchase (we will have forms at the track). Make sure you show up with enough gas to run at least your first session! There will be no gas available until 8:30am at the earliest. The schedule for gas sales is on the hour, every hour until 4pm. The attendant will only wait for 10 minutes to sell gas. Gas is purchasable only using CASH only. Speed Ventures does not guarantee that race fuel will be available. If it is critical to running your car, you should plan to bringing your own. 7). LOADING IN the day before: If you want to unload on Friday night, you must notify us in advance and we will let you know if it is possible (it is 99% of the time) and let you know the hours available for loading in (usually 4pm-7pm). We must give your name to security to grant you access. Saturday load in is possible all day up until 6pm (gates lock at 7pm). 8). CAMPING: Due to the added cost of security we will only allow camping if enough people are willing to chip in to cover the costs. If we get enough people willing to pay for camping, we can possibly add security. If you would like to help make camping available, please hit reply and let us know. 9). CAR NUMBERS: You must have car numbers, at least 8" tall, located on both sides and either the front or back of your vehicle. This is mandatory for all drivers. 10). TOW HOOKS or a suitable TOW POINT are highly recommended on the FRONT of your car (and recommended on the rear). If you do not establish a tow point, Speed Ventures will be forced to figure out a way to tow you off track. We are not responsible for any damage done to cars during towing. 11). TRANSPONDERS: If you forget to turn in your transponder at the conclusion of an event, you will be responsible for shipping it back ASAP.
